Wainfleet All Saints Town Council Meeting
The Monthly Meeting of the Town Council will take place Wednesday 5th August at 18:00 at the Methodist Chapel, St. John Street, Wainfleet All Saints. Councillors are hereby summonsed to attend. There will be a 15-minute public forum when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council. Members of the public are welcome to view for the remainder of the meeting, with the exceptions of closed sessions, but they may not speak on any matter after the public session is closed. Times are approximate.
Agenda
1. Reports from county and district councillors
To receive a report from LCC Councillor M.Hume.
To receive a report from ELDC Councillor W. Bowkett.
Members of the public may ask questions of the county and district councillors.
2. Public session
An opportunity for the public to ask the Council questions and to bring new observations.
3. Apologies for absence
To receive and approve apologies for absence.
4. Declarations of interest
To receive declarations of interest under the Localism Act 2011.
Being any pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on the Members Register of Interests and any written requests for dispensation.
5. Draft Minutes of the Council Meeting held on 1st July 2026
To confirm the notes as a true record of the decisions made.
6.Clerks report and action points from the previous minutes
To receive the clerks report and deal with matters arising.
7. Finance
a. To receive the July Financial reports and updates.
b. To approve payments and receipts.
c. To receive the first quarter financial report
8. Planning
To receive and discuss new applications.
9. War Memorial
To receive reports and updates on the repair of the War Memorial
10. Remembrance Sunday
To discuss proposals for Remembrance Sunday.
11. Reports from Working groups
To review and approve any issues raised by the working groups that require full council approval.
12. Actions required from checklists
To review and approve any actions highlighted from the monthly checklists
13. To receive a proposal to appoint a formal staffing committee
To receive a proposal from Cllr. C.Drury to create a formal staffing committee and to review his draft terms of reference.
14. Correspondence
To discuss correspondence received
15. To receive a report from Cllr. S.Mitchell (CLOSED SESSION)
Cllr. S. Mitchell will make a presentation to the council.
16. Letter from Wainfleet St Mary Parish Council (to be discussed in closed session).
To discuss a letter received from WSMPC and a draft reply.

To receive items for inclusion on the next meetings agenda.
